Using the Alena daybed is easy. First, assemble it following the included instructions. Once assembled, you can use it as a regular daybed for relaxing during the day. When you have guests for a sleepover, simply pull out the twin-sized trundle from under the daybed. You can then place a suitable mattress on the trundle and on the daybed itself. As for maintenance, spot clean the dark grey polyester fabric as needed to keep it looking fresh. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric. Since the daybed is made with natural raw materials like wood and foam, expect some variations in color, pattern, grain, and texture. These variations are normal and add to the unique character of the piece. Also, be careful when moving the daybed or the trundle to avoid scratching the frame or the fabric.
